![]() Do note that you can only change your second Mastery (that you allocated at level 10+). Preferably, this quest should pop up sometime around level 50(±5). For players who aren't interested in re-allocation, it could offer alternate rewards. I believe this can be addressed without a heavy compromise by one simple solution - having a (non-repeatable) quest that rewards you with the option to re-allocate your second mastery and refund all the points in it. The above two points might compel a player to turn to 3rd party savehack tools, which is not a good thing for a bevy of reasons. Not having the option to change said mastery even once is a major potential turn-off. Not everyone has the time to create a new character (especially when you're around lvl 40, which is when the game gets going and you realize whether you're up to snuff or not). As the game is released and more casual players flock to the game, this will be a greater concern. This means that you select a major gameplay feature without fully understanding the underlying game mechanics. You are allowed to pick your second mastery at lvl 10, which is quite early in the game (especially from a new player's perspective). However, first I'll state my reasons for wanting an in-game mastery respec option first: What I do wish to achieve, however, is a sort of compromise with the devs here. ![]() It could be that it reduces the game experience - by letting you play multiple playstyles in one playthrough, or perhaps some other such reason. I will not speculate about the reasons Mastery re-allocation wasn't included in GD.
